Last month, we bought an electric vehicle with a subsidy from Jeju Province.

The vehicle is the KIA Motors Soul EV model, which boasts the longest range among electric vehicles sold in Korea.

We plan to use this car for short-distance of business purposes, as the Soul EV can travel more than 140km on a single charge.

In a recent test, it was able to make a round trip from Seogwipo City to Jeju Airport on just one charge, which indicates its potential for medium-distance use in the future.

Jeju Province has set a goal for all cars on the island to be electric by 2030 and is taking a proactive approach with its subsidized electric vehicle program, more so than other regions.

Additionally, the charging infrastructure on Jeju Island is well-established, ensuring no issues with operating electric cars on the island.
